Fully hardened and tempered. Blade uniformly through hardened; can be repeatedly reground without re-hardening. Head specially annealed to prevent splintering. Special quality, i.e. highest possible tip hardness (approx. 59 HRC) with exceptional toughness.
Chrome vanadium special alloy. Surface chrome-plated.
